YOUTH CHINESE TEST (YCT) EXAM CERTIFICATE COACHING
YCT Exams comprises of 2 parts – written test and oral test.
- The written test encompasses four levels, ranging from YCT-Level 1 to YCT-Level 4.
- The oral test comprises YCT-Speaking (Basic) and YCT-Speaking (Intermediate).
YCT Levels
YCT Level 1
Tests the student’s understanding and use of common Chinese words and sentences.
YCT Level 2
Students must be able to meet communication demands in specific situations using simple Chinese words.
YCT Level 3
Students must be able to communicate familiar daily topics and achieve excellence level for Chinese beginners.
YCT Level 4
Students must complete basic communication tasks in personal life and academic studies. When travelling in China, students must be able to handle most communication tasks.
